New Head of Insurance Supervision Division Appointed

After a comprehensive recruitment process, the Cayman Monetary Regulatory Authority International (“Cmrai”) is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Kara Ebanks as the new Head of the Insurance Supervision Division.

Ms. Ebanks has been with Cmrai since 2007, serving as Deputy Head of the Insurance Supervision Division since April 2021. Over the years, she has become a pivotal figure within the insurance team and is highly respected by both colleagues and industry professionals. Her strong technical expertise and high-quality work have earned her recognition across various high-profile matters within the organization.

In her new role, Ms. Ebanks will continue to manage her day-to-day responsibilities while also maintaining her role as the primary liaison for international associations and National Risk Assessment activities.
