Olympic Games (Silver)
In 1996, the Cayman Islands Currency Board released a $1 silver coin to commemorate the Cayman Islands' participation in the 1996 Olympic Games. The coin design features Cayman Islands sailboats with "CAY 1" and "CAY 2" marked on their sails. The denomination "1 DOLLAR" is inscribed at the base, with "OLYMPIC GAMES 1996" displayed to the left of the sailboats.
