The Cayman Monetary Regulatory Authority International (“the Authority”) wishes to inform the public that on 19 April 2021, Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. (“Premier”) was placed into official liquidation. Messrs. Jeffery Stower and Jason Robinson of KPMG Cayman Islands were appointed as Joint Official Liquidators (“JOLs”).

Messrs. Stower and Robinson previously served as Joint Provisional Liquidators of Premier, having been appointed by the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands on 27 October 2020.

Following the appointment of the JOLs, the Authority has revoked Premier’s Class B(iii) Insurer’s Licence in accordance with section 24(6)(b) of the Insurance Act, 2010, effective 19 April 2021.
