Senior Network Administrator – Information Systems
The Senior Network Administrator will take a leadership role in overseeing, configuring, and managing Cmrai’s complex computer networks. This role involves not only maintaining and optimizing the organization’s existing network infrastructure but also customizing and advancing network systems to meet the evolving needs of the organization. The Senior Network Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the security, stability, and efficiency of all network operations, providing a robust IT environment to support the organization’s strategic goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading the management and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure, including high-level oversight of servers, routers, switches, and firewalls;
- Designing, configuring, and implementing advanced network hardware and software solutions to meet operational and security requirements;
- Monitoring and optimizing network performance, identifying potential issues, and proactively addressing them to ensure minimal downtime;
- Developing and enforcing network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems;
- Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of network resources through strategic planning, regular maintenance, updates, and redundancy solutions;
- Customizing and scaling network architecture to support the organization's growth and changing technological needs;
- Collaborating with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and innovations into the network infrastructure;
- Providing expert-level technical support and mentorship to the IT team, as well as guidance on complex network-related issues;
- Documenting and maintaining detailed records of network configurations, changes, procedures, and policies;
- Staying at the forefront of industry trends and advancements in network technology to continuously enhance network security and efficiency;
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant IT, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations;
- Playing a key role in disaster recovery planning, ensuring the network's resilience, data integrity, and quick recovery in case of disruptions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution;
- At least 7 years of experience in network administration, with a focus on managing and optimizing large-scale, complex network systems;
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, advanced security systems, and best practices in enterprise network management;
- Experience with high-end network hardware such as enterprise-grade routers, switches, and firewalls, along with advanced network monitoring tools;
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to address and resolve network issues efficiently;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels;
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP are highly desirable;
- Experience with cloud networking, virtualization technologies, and hybrid network environments;
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously;
- A proactive and strategic approach to network management, with a focus on innovation, security, and continuous improvement.
